MY APPROACH TO CREATION
For two very important reasons I am basing my evidence for the creation on those things which are readily apparent to have been deliberately designed. One does not need to be a rocket scientists to instinctively realize that hands and fingers were made for grasping and to manipulate things. Thus I use the approach of Intelligent Design, formerly known as teleology, because God Himself uses that approach in the Bible, and secondly, because it is on this evidence that He will judge unbelievers at the end of time (Romans 1:20-22)! This approach can never be outdated!
If certain aspects of our bodies do not function that well, or if we were born with a congenital condition of some sort, then the buck stops with Adam and Eve who fell into sin. It is because of their sin that God cursed the Earth to enter the realm of time and chance - for our sake, the Bible says in Genesis 3:17. This is so that we might repent of our current lifestyles and seek forgiveness through Christ. He then gives us supernatural strength to be either overcomers, or to bear or to be healed, according to His purposes in us. The most amazing conversions of people to Christianity have come through people who live extremely handicapped lives, yet love and praise the Lord Jesus in the midst of their daily difficulties.
Interestingly, some translations omit that God cursed the Earth for our sakes or belittle it with ill chosen words, which is why many people who suffer have never heard of God's good intentions. Instead they become angry with God. The Scriptures are clear that God wants all people to repent; 'Truly, then, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now He strictly commands all men everywhere to repent' (Acts 17:30).
The design that is apparent in ecological systems and in living creatures, and in the cosmos for that matter, is a powerful witness for the existence of God because its there for everyone to see. No one, young or old, educated or not, can escape that which is obvious. Therefore no one will have an excuse before the judgement seat on that Day. We choose the gate we are going to walk through while we are alive in our bodies, on this Earth. My purpose is to make you more aware how miraculous certain things, that we take for granted, really are.
He has revealed Himself in His creation by the things that have been made, even giving us the clue through the things that have been made that He is a triune God. One, yet three!
God is not going to twist our elbows to force us one way or the other - to believe in Him or not. It's entirely our own choice whether we to choose to believe in the God of the Bible or something else. All around the world, His numerous messengers are fulfilling His command to 'enlarge our tents' and spread the good news. We, the messengers, hope that you will respond favourably.
'then you should all know, and all the people of Israel should know, that this man stands here before you completely well through the power of the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth---whom you crucified and whom God raised from death. Jesus is the one of whom the scripture says, 'The stone that you the builders despised turned out to be the most important of all.' Salvation is to be found through him alone; in all the world there is no one else whom God has given who can save us" (Acts 4:10-12).
Will people listen? Do people have a heart to listen, even in simple matters like looking at this website or other websites like it? Some do have a heart, but some have already commented, "I haven't got time. I am too busy! ", the same excuse that guests used for not attending the marriage feast that Jesus had prepared (Matthew 22:2-14). Ignoring the invitation proved disastrous.
Whether you are interested in science or not, I implore you to look at the compelling evidence for Intelligent Design by considering the marvelous features of your own body. I invite you to at least read my first article on the creation, 'Need for a Creator' .
I have recently been impressed by a series of testimonies on YouTube. They were the personal accounts of people who claimed to have left their bodies whilst dying on the operating table or because of some other bizarre event. They descended to hell for varying periods of time but then were rescued by Jesus or by a bright light and brought back to life. The brief visit was allowed by the Lord to impress on them the reality of hell. Many of the accounts were credible and confirmed what Jesus had to say about hell. It is a place of incredible torment. Laurie Ditto's testimony on YouTube ought to be watched by every Christian. The most horrifying thing about hell is that it is a place of no return. The soul and spirit remain there all eternity forever and ever. The two gates above symbolize the severity and goodness of God
'Behold then the kindness, and the severity of God; on those having fallen, severity; but on you, kindness, if you continue in the kindness. Otherwise you also will be cut off' (Romans 11:22). Note in this verse the conditional requirement of our salvation. Although we are His purchased possession, we can walk away from His grace or even abuse it. This is what one of my visions was all about.
One account had an enormous impact on me and made absolute sense. People were trapped in individual burning compartments, their bodies being continually consumed but not destroyed reliving the sins they had committed, but now their sins were turning upon themselves in a most hideous manner. As the Lord promised in scripture, He will repay their sins in double. I offer this video so that you too may believe.
We know that God is love. In His love God wants to save us from hell. He gives us grace and opportunities to repent. But will we listen? Jesus was very blunt about the horrors of hell. Let us continue to pray for the lost, even Christians can become lost. The web site https://wordatwork.org.uk/answers/once-saved-always-saved- gives a balanced view of the cliche 'Once Saved Always Saved', so we need to walk very carefully before the Lord. As the apostle said, 'work out your salvation with fear and trembling' (Philippians 2:12).
RESURRECTION BODIES
Unfortunately, every one will have a resurrection body. Why do I say unfortunate? It is because there are two resurrections - the first and then after 1000 years the second. The second resurrection is that of the wicked who have ever lived. The wicked will participate in a second death, which is eternal existence in the Lake of Fire (John5:29).
If we were to study scriptures concerning the resurrection, we would discover that there are degrees of reward in heaven and degrees of reward in hell. Should you decide to follow such an inquiry you will discover that there are three degrees of reward in heaven, and three degrees of reward in hell. I am glad that not everyone in hell will have to face the same grievous torment as Hitler, Himmler or Nero, or for the citizens of Capernaum. Citizens of Capernaum who rejected Jesus, yet saw many of His miracles, will suffer a fate worse than those of Sodom and Gomorrah according to Jesus (Mark 6:11).
Have you noticed in Revelation 16:13 that the spirits that came out of Satan, the Antichrist and the false prophet looked like frogs? According to testimonies I have heard, demons have disfigured faces and often are animal like due to their fallen nature. Testimonies on YouTube by people who have experienced demons in temporary visitations to hell (to teach them a lesson) describe that demons look like powerful and grotesque aliens, half-animal / half-human, as depicted in Hollywood science fiction movies. I have never seen a demon myself, but two of my close friends have. They apparently look ghoulish and terrifying, have long claws and are anxious to mock and claw those descending into hell. Why is that?
The overwhelming thought that God is burning into my mind is that in the beginning all angels were created beautiful. Those that rebelled against God, and over millennia influenced evil-minded people into deeper corruption, immorality and depravity, gradually lost their beauty and became hideous in appearance fitting to their evil practices. They are liars, are able to change form and are filled with hate towards men and women.
The opposite is true of the godly, who grow from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18) finally possessing resurrection bodies that differ in splendor and glory - as the apostle said, some to Sun glory, others to Moon glory and others to the glory of dim twinkling stars (1 Corinthians 15:40-44; Hebrews 11:35). Think about it!
'Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire' (1Corinthians 3:12-15).
