"So let your light shine before men, so that they may see

your good works, and may glorify your Father in Heaven"  (Matthew 5:16)

Why my material on Creation6000.com can be useful to you

I am not here to give you details or prophetic insights as to the future of Australia or the outcome of political elections nor how to escape the social and financial unrest that is hitting the world today. The answer to that is simple enough. Draw closer to the Lord in prayer, be filled with the Holy Spirit and allow yourself to be led by the Spirit for such are the true sons of God. As Psalm 91 adequately spells out, those who seek refuge under the shadow of His wings shall be pleasing the Lord and have His total protection from all that the evil one can throw at us. This does not mean that we shall escape all elements of suffering for, as the scriptures point out, there is a cup which even His disciples will have to drink in times like these.

His promise to us is that your life, your work in the Lord and your families will be spared through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ even as Baruch, a disciple of the prophet Jeremiah, was spared during the destruction of Jerusalem. He will strengthen you to enable you to do great exploits in the Lord in the middle of the storms and calamities that the Lord is bringing upon the Earth. All this is happening to bring repentance into the House of the Lord giving the opportunity of salvation to masses of people.

This is what the Lord said to Baruch because he was fearing for his life, "Are you looking for great things for yourself? Don't look for them because I'm going to bring disaster on all people, declares the LORD. But, wherever you go, I will let you escape with your life" (Jeremiah 45:5). We are not to fear but to do great exploits for the Lord. HE HAS NOT GIVEN US THE SPIRIT TO FEAR. He is preparing the world for a great harvest in which all of us can participate. Naturally, He wants us to pray to send more labourers into the harvest; strange that He doesn't just do it but moves on account of our prayers. That is the mystery of prayer.  We can unlock heavenly things on Earth.

So where does creation6000 fit in? As Jesus taught there will be many false apostles, prophets and teachers at the time of the end to sway you from the truth that is hidden in the cross and to lead you down a path that is not of the Lord but ends in destruction ("Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord!' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the person who does what my Father in heaven wants" (Matthew 7:21). And read on.

Our responsibility is to grow in Christ and mature - quickly and to set our minds on that. We are to pray for the Lord to cleanse us as King David did (Psalm 51:10) and to reveal His son in us (Galatians 1:16; Ephesians 4:11-16). Rejoice in the Lord always (Matthew 5:12; Philippians 4:4).

The material in creation6000, together with all of the divinely inspired scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, is to help you to remain in the truth of the gospel with many new insights, to allow you to stand on a rock as the flood waters swirl around at your feet destroying many of the wicked and unbelieving (Psalm 91). Your mandate is to keep my brothers and sisters rooted firmly on the rock that is the Lord Jesus.

My greater mandate, so it seems to me, is to encourage believers to dig deeper into the Word and to reach the goal of the high prize that the Apostle Paul talked about. Jesus said that He will come back with rewards. Have you realized that there are resurrections and better resurrections? The scriptures plainly say so. Are you interested in a better resurrection? Then begin to look into the options that God has promised for those that joyfully run after Him. Its the responses in this life that determine our fate in Paradise.

The Rev Hal Oxley, founder of Life Ministry Church in Melbourne, stated in a recently released book before his death at the age of 103, "On the examination of some of the types in the Bible it would indicate that all Christian believers are not going to be in the Bride - e.g. the story of the ten virgins who are apparently saved, as they have the Holy Spirit, but only five of them get into the wedding and they, as guests, and not as the Bride." I hold the same view as elaborated extensively in some of my articles, particularly in my Kindle book, and in the article on "There is always more in Christ" on this site, for example.

I have 15 articles under the title "The True Age of the Earth".  To estimate the age of the Earth Bible scholars such as Archbishop Ussher considered the genealogy of Bible characters and added up their respective lifespans arriving at 4000 BC for the moment of creation. Hence according to classical reckoning the current age of the Earth is about 6000 years.

But is this necessarily so? Instead of leaning on the book of Genesis and Exodus I have consulted the whole Word of God and have come to a different conclusion. For instance, does the Bible reveal how many days Adam and Eve spent in the Garden of Eden before they sinned? No it doesn't. Concerning the age of Adam when he died  do we realize that Adam could have lived forever in the Garden before sin entered in? There was no death or aging before sin.

That is precisely why you will live eternally without any sign of aging in heaven once you are forgiven through the blood of Christ. It was only after they sinned that Adam and Eve began to age and life on this earth was cursed. Therefore, the genealogy of Adam with a life span of 930 years is only a measure of his lifespan from the time that Adam sinned. What about all the years Adam and Eve might have lived before that? Few Bible scholars have considered that! Fortunately we can derive that from the rest of scripture and that is what my 15 articles are on about. The Word of God is rich and deep and we do it injustice by reading it just superficially.

Once they sinned, God had to immediately put into effect His threat that they would die within the same day that they ate of the fruit of the tree.

"but you shall not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. For in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die" (Genesis 2:17). Do you think God is kidding when He makes a threat? He meant that literally.

One day with God is 1000 years on Earth. So Adam had to die within 1000 years and he did. None of the other long-lived Bible characters made it to 1000 years either. Methuselah was the closest to it dying at the age of 969 years. None of them made it to 1000 years which is consistent with God's threat to the whole of cursed humanity that they had to die within one of God's days.

So what are the ramifications for the true age of the earth? You will have to read those 15 articles to find out. Secondly, how long were the 'days' in the creation? The word for 'day' in Hebrew is 'Yom'. Yom is used for four different spans of time in the early chapters of Genesis. Were they really 24 hour days, especially when the Sun did not exist until Day 4? Furthermore, can you imagine Adam performing in less than 12 hours all that God had required of him by naming all the animals etc? On top of that, after seeing that all the animals had mates God recognized that Adam was getting lonely. All in less than 12 hours?

AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH (Matthew 24:37-39)

Have you read Noah's account in detail (Genesis chapters 6-9)? God Himself brought chosen animals there. Noah did not shut the door before the flood. God shut the door. The day will come, until Revelation Chapter 12 is reached, when God will also shut forever the door that leads to salvation. Jesus said "I am the door, ....no one comes to the Father but by me". It's your choice to come in or stay out. The vast multitudes scoffed at Noah and did not enter in. They stopped laughing when the rains and the flood came. There are multitudes in hell already who gnaw at their own flesh for having chosen to stay out! The prophet Isaiah, in chapter 5, declared that hell has enlarged itself to accommodate such people. But God doesn't want anyone to perish. The door to salvation is currently still open to all. That is the grace and love of God through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ".

To whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? In other words, to whom does He reveal His secrets and salvation? God is very selective in His choices. That's crucial to know because Jesus said that no man (he/she) can come to Him unless the Father draws him. The God's Word translation of the Bible puts it this way "I have made all these things. 'That is why all these things have come into being,' declares the LORD. I will pay attention to those who are humble and sorry for their sins and who tremble at my word" (Isaiah 66:2). Though God highly esteems His name He treasures His Word even above that as revealed by King David in the Spirit, "I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth's sake; for You have magnified Your Word above all Your name" (Psalm 138:2).

To the wicked He says, "I also will choose the things that delude them, and I will bring their fears on them, because I called, no one answered; when I spoke, they did not hear. But they did evil before My eyes and chose that in which I did not delight" (Isaiah 66:4).

As the book itself admonishes in Chapter 22 this is a must read for all Christians. God would not have given it to us if it did not fulfill a purpose for all believers.

There is much in the book that can be clearly understood and even more if one reads it having a prior knowledge of Old Testament types and shadows. However, there is also much that is still shrouded in mystery, concerning timings and sequences of events, hence all the conjecture that surround it.

Chapters 6-8 warn us that great and terrible things are going to be shortly unfolding before us. We are at the door. However, the Lord impressed upon me that the main purpose of Revelation is to understand what we are experiencing and to be confident that He is in control and that this is all according to the judgements He has predetermined to come upon the world. We cannot stop it.

Therefore, we are to continue to trust Him and to not fear because those who are truly committed to Him are under His hand whether we suffer or not. He will be with us no matter what. As these things happen it will provide opportunity to share the gospel because people will be even more terrified than they are now at the beginning of 2021. Blessings be upon you, Charles
