INTRODUCTION  - Overview and purpose

My motto:

'You have received freely, freely give'

(Matthew 10:8)

Charles Pallaghy founder of

I welcome all in whom the life of Christ is expressed regardless of creed or denomination. One of my main purposes  is to foster Christian unity in accordance with the desire of the Lord Jesus as expressed in His prayer to the Father in John Chapter 17. My intention is to build up your faith in the Word of God.

I desire to lift up the life of Jesus Christ in all that I write and share the fellowship God has granted me by revealing His Word especially in relation to the creation and end-times. As friends of God, He wants to share His intentions and purposes with us as we enter the last generation that awaits His return.

The New Testament clearly shows that God has a clock and that  events happen according to a predestined time. We notice that in the Scriptures, as for example 'and when the day of Pentecost was fully come...'. In other words, God was not going to pour out His Holy Spirit any earlier or later than the Day of Pentecost. God was counting in heaven as much as the Jews were counting the 50 days in Jerusalem. Moreover, whenever the Jews tried to kill Jesus He disappeared out of their midst. Why? Because His time (His hour) had not yet come! The Scriptures emphasize that. And concerning the birth of Jesus we read 'But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law...' (Galatians 4:4). Here we have it again. There was a precisely appointed time in world history for these things to happen.

Yet within this set framework that He has predestined He has given us free choice whether to accept or reject His grace for, as the scripture says, He is not willing that any of us should perish. Should we perish, like the Pharoah of the Exodus and King Herod of jerusalem, or even like Judas the betrayer, it is only because we chose to draw away from God - sometimes already in our youth. Nevertheless, God always extends His welcome if we are prepared to repent and turn to Him.

What is definitely set in concrete, however, is His determination at the end of time that He will recognize no one who is outside of Christ. Its black and white. Either we are in Him or we are against Him. There can be no mingling between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light.  Salvation can only be through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no back door in, no matter how sincere our intentions might be! He is the door, the only door!

antique ornate gold door handle.jpg

'Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved' (Acts 4:12).

There can be no mingling between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light. The privilege of choice remains our own, but it must be made in this lifetime. There is no second chance after we die as Jesus explained in His account of Lazarus the pauper and the rich man who found himself in Hades. If we make a concession shortly before death, as did one of the thieves on the cross, then in His great love and mercy He will say, "Today, you will be with me in Paradise". The other thief, overwhelmed with bitterness in what life has dealt him, chose to remain angry and went down to Hades.

How it is possible for God to give us the freedom of choice and still enable His plan for the history of the Earth to proceed according to His predestined wish is a miracle. Somebody had to betray Jesus, somebody had to deny Him justice, but it didn't have to be the people who ended up performing the deed. God would have found someone else to play the part! That too is a miracle. Nothing is too hard for the powerful God who created the vast cosmos and the tiniest of microbes.

According to the counsel of the trinity before the creation, the Father knew all that would unfold in history - but it still had to be processed and manifested in 'flesh'. He knew that man would disobey and fall which is why Jesus, the lamb of God, was foreordained before the creation to cover sins. God was not caught napping.

'...knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you' (1Peter 1:18-20).

God knows the end from the beginning. Its supernatural beyond the understanding of man. This is why God has given us the Word of God written by redeemed men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. In accordance with our finite understanding we simply have to accept that God has a predetermined plan that runs like clockwork. By closely examining the scriptures we find that He strictly works according to patterns which we can deduce, and have deduced, in the articles on this website. Some of these patterns have been known by certain churches for decades.

In the book of Galatians the Greek word used for 'time'  was "chronos" from which we arrived at the word 'chronology' - the special measurement of time. However, 'The ancient Greeks had two words for time: chronos (χρόνος) and kairos. The former refers to chronological or sequential time, while the latter signifies a proper or opportune time for action. While chronos is quantitative, kairos has a qualitative, permanent nature. Kairos also means weather in Modern Greek' (Wikipedia). In working through the Scripture we find that God has preordained history according to patterns and precise timings which actually have been prophetically revealed if we choose to look for the evidence. This is why God commanded Moses to strictly build the Tabernacle according to the instructions received on Mount Horeb. Why? Because the pattern for world history is hidden within the cubit measures and priestly functions of the Tabernacle. God hid it there in secret for us to find out at the culmination of world history for our benefit. According to the Bible we have been made kings and priests in Christ, haven't we? Therefore God's secrets can be made known:

'It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter'
(Proverbs 25:2).

Through these observations we can deduce many things about world history, the true age of the Earth and the true length of time God took for the creation. Thus we provide timelines in appropriate sections of this website as we discuss historical and prophetic matters.

Likewise, concerning the final harvest of souls at the time of the end, 'And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe' (Revelation 14:18). For His judgment to be righteous and without opposition, God is allowing time for wickedness to reach its ultimate peak. The Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, best-selling New York Times author of 'The Harbinger' and 'The Paradigm' fame, has said that from a study of the Feasts of Israel he can do a mathematical countdown for the Second Coming of Christ. We have done that too in the 15 articles of the true age of the Earth.

When considering the time-frame of world history, the apostle Peter prefaced his comments by linking the Creation with Noah's Flood and the final judgment of the world: 'For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men' (2Peter 3:5-7). Peter's prophecy was given by the Holy Spirit Who knows that God will accomplish His intentions on Earth and heaven according to His will. The prophecy will surely come to pass at the set time.

I quote from a most wonderful book I recently came across - the writings of George H Warnock - possibly the best I have ever read on 'The Feast of Tabernacles' and the great ingathering that will soon take place. I quote 'It is amazing how unbelieving a believer can become. One might as well call Christ a liar, and His apostles false witnesses of God, as to deny that God is going to have a Body functioning in absolute unity of the Spirit, with each member in his proper place, and all members working together as one harmonious whole. Here again, there is only one reason why "believers" refuse to believe it, and it is because we have never seen it either in our experience or in the history of the Church, and it is scarcely visible in the days of the early apostolic Church....If God said it, it is going to come to pass: and if Jesus prayed for it, not all the devices of Satan can prevent the glorious fulfillment of that prayer of faith. For God has established a sure and certain means by which this inexpressible unity is going to be brought into being, even the ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. These are given by the resurrected Jesus Himself, we are told, for the perfecting of the saints....till we all come in the unity of the faith.......unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ' (Ephesians 4:13). This is certain to come to pass under shepherds chosen by Christ and the Father, not by  boards or man. Their ministry will become self-evident and approved in the Church by those truly seeking the heart of God. They deserve due honour and recognition.

Apart from novel Bible-based Christian articles and my autobiography, this website,, has 15 articles that gradually leads the reader to an understanding of the true 'Age of the Earth'. We also offer 'Free Advertising' space. The story of how I was born-again in 1976 is on my other website

Much of this material on the evidence for creation will be useful for Christian education and also to school and college students interested in biology or creation in general. My articles confirm that only one aspect of the general theory of evolution is correct. God created and over time plants and animals diversified through natural laws of genetics that rule reproduction.

I believe the 66 books of the authorised Bible to be the divinely-inspired instructions for eternal life in the same way as DNA contains the divinely inspired ‘words’  for biological life (ie. the four nucleotide bases or letters A,T, C and G).  How God has managed to guard the Scriptures, our spiritual  instructions for eternal life,  through all the centuries and millennia is a miracle in itself. Let's face it. Anything to do with God involves the supernatural. You may as well have faith and settle on that fact.

I have been taught by many great women and men of God for 41 years. These, in turn, received from other great women and men of God and so on, and so on. '....what do you have that you did not receive and if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it' (1 Corinthians 4:7)? To supplement these teachings God also gave me visions and dreams over the years to place scriptures into proper context. Every good thing comes from God whether by instruction or by personal revelation.

I honour all these men and women for their hours of godly labour irrespective of their home denominations. God will be their true reward. Above all else, to God Himself be the praise!

These articles are my own expressions or compilation of revelations I have received, integrated with much sound biblical material that I have been taught, read or heard about. Their original  wordings, expressions and way of putting things have inherently become part of me. Among the articles you will find a helpful explanation of the triune nature of God which has since been welcomed by manyMuch of what I am sharing here was confirmed by the Lord confirmed through visions and dreams. Many of these have been published  under the trademark "ChristED" in my new Kindle book available on the various Amazon web sites. The interactive button on my Home page will take you there.

Importantly, early in my Christian experience church elders laid hands on me and prayed that I be filled with the hope of Christian unity. I have held fast to that prophecy and have always resisted double standards or hypocrisy in whatever church I have attended. I follow the lamb wherever He leads despite the many puzzled responses from wonderful people whom we have come to know. I have total confidence that this website is of the Lord and consider it to be one of His many personal websites in the world for the benefit of all.

Featured articles explain my background in science and our family’s many experiences, even before I became a Christian in 1976. They are listed in the top menu under "God's Grace".

In a dream the Lord revealed that I would not have wanted to be around during the first four days of the creation. The Earth was brought forth in violence, molded like a potter slamming and kneading clay on a potter's wheel. Even if the Lord placed me safely in the cleft of a rock I would have been terrified to witness the cosmic magnitude of the first four days of the creation.

The Lord brought this vividly home by a recent event. There was a violent and spectacular thunderstorm not far from our local shopping centre. A young couple took it into their heads to step out of the safety of their car to watch the spectacle. Lightning struck them. She died and he required hospitalization! If I had been there at the creation, watching the massive geological and cosmic upheavals, the waves, thunder and lightning, and atmospheric turbulence, it would have frightened me 'to death', just as the scripture forecasts will happen again,

'And there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken' (Luke 21:25-26, KJV).

As God said of the creation, the outcome was good, but it was anything but peaceful or pretty while He was beating the Earth into shape. It involved a lengthy process, but not as lengthy as evolution theory would have it.

No wonder the Earth became a chaotic mess and seemingly void under the dark waves. The Tree of Life version puts it this way, 'Now the earth was chaos and waste, and darkness was on the surface of the deep, and the Ruach Elohim was hovering upon the surface of the water' (Genesis 1:2). God works in darkness, He does not need light. 'He made darkness His secret place, His pavilion around Him, darkness of waters and thick clouds of the skies' (Psalms 18:11).

We usually read Genesis Chapter 1 as calmly as a toddler's picture book thinking that God just clicked His fingers and wonderful things came into being, and everything was nice and peaceful. It was anything but that! This is why God designed the development of the embryo to occur in darkness and in secret, and the natural birth process to be so painful and messy. He wanted to give us a taste of the arduous process bringing the Earth and the heavens forth. It was a long and deafening process.

Initially, the Earth was a sphere in turmoil, completely submerged in water, suspended in the darkness of empty space. The heavenly bodies were given on day 4 for the specific purpose of marking times, evenings and mornings, days and seasons. Evening and morning were idioms used figuratively by the Israelites to denote the beginning and end of a period of time.

With waves and deep subterranean volcanic action, waters swirling around, massive submarine tectonic activity, etc, it is no wonder that it first became a chaotic mess with no form, as Genesis 1:2 proclaims. It is God who later set a limit to the waves by providing sandy shores and elevated land. (Job 38:8-11). Subterranean channels were real - they still are, but probably no longer to the same extent. God broke up the fountains of the deep during Noah's flood when He submerged the Earth once again. (Genesis 7:1).

God showed me a bicycle to use as a parable for your benefit.  This parable will help us to understand God's purposes and methods, and to reveal His predetermined time-frame for the Creation and the future history of the world. The purpose of the instructive nature of this parable is to encourage Christians to pay more attention to detail in the Old Testament. The majority of Christianity ignores the prophetic and symbolic elements of the Old Testament to its own peril.

fast cycle.jpg

God likened the back wheel to the Old Testament and the front wheel to the New Testament. The back wheel propels the bike forward, but both wheels are of equal importance to cover distance at a good speed. Missing one of them or having an imbalance in emphasis between the two might get us somewhere, but not very far! The frame keeps the wheels apart, yet firmly connected at the same time.

Maintaining both wheels active and in motion provides gyroscopic stability while it is the Holy Spirit who adds energy to our pedals and provides personal guidance to our destination, like the handle bars on a bicycle. The illuminated and imminent word of God is the head lamp necessary for our journey. Our pilgrimage is in a darkened world with false teachers abounding, some backed by polished organizations and in a particular case even headed by a self-proclaimed Messiah claiming to be the reincarnation of Christ into another poverty-stricken baby in China. Her utterances have produced a book, "The Word Appears in the Flesh",  that is treated more relevant than the Bible for modern times in "The Church of  Almighty God" (which has millions of mostly female followers). May the Lord deliver us from such and open their eyes! Whatever did Christ do with the resurrected body He already had in Jesus?

'For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and produce great signs and omens, to lead astray if possible, even the elect' (Matthew 24:24).

'Indeed, you are my lamp, O LORD, the LORD lightens my darkness' (2 Samuel 22:29).

'Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path' (Psalm 119:105).

To confirm the value and significance of this parable I remind the reader that Jesus said that the golden candlestick that was in the Holy Place of the Tabernacle of Moses represented the church (Revelation 1:20). In his book on the subject, Kevin Conner pointed out that there were 66 ornaments on the candlestick, 27 on each side and 12 on the main shaft. This corresponds to the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 authorized books of the New Testament as in the King James Bible. The 12 on the main shaft bind them together. The lamp was focused onto the 12 loaves of the Table of Showbread in the Holy Place which symbolize apostolic doctrine. Its apostolic doctrine which bonds the Old and New Testaments together. 'The candlestick reminds us that it takes the light of the Holy Spirit to illumine these 66 books to the Church' (Kevin Conner, 1991).

In our parable, unicycles refer to riders who pay attention to the New Testament only. Penny-farthing riders refer to those who will incorporate some of the Old Testament scriptures in their Sunday readings but not their symbolic depths. For example, 'the rituals and details of the Tabernacle of Moses were just a shadow of heavenly things. They serve at a place that is a pattern, a shadow of what is in heaven. When Moses was about to make the tent God warned him, "Be sure to make everything based on the plan I showed you on the mountain" '(Hebrews 8:5, God's Word translation).

Another important aspect of the bicycle parable is that both wheels rotate at the same speed. This becomes important when we compare the length of the Creation Week with that of the Redemptive Week that we shall talk about later. This will help us to deduce the true age of the Earth (

We who live towards the end of world-history desperately need to possess that which God has provided for us in Him, 'as a plan for the fullness of time, to gather up all things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth' (Ephesians 1:10). When Jesus explained the Christ to the two disciples on the road to Emmaus, Jesus used the Old Testament. The New Testament writings did not yet exist! Jesus and His works are hidden in the Old Testament as also are the time-frames of the Creation and of world history.

How are we to understand the books of Hebrews and Revelations if we know nothing about the Tabernacle or the Temple of Solomon, etc? Both books contain 'temple language' and temple references. It is Paul the apostle who was frustrated that the Corinthian church fed only on the milk of the word and not its meat!  'For everyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is unskilled in the word of righteousness' (Hebrews 5:13).

Before the Law came through Moses everything before was by grace. I am not suggesting in the least that we return to the Law, but I am suggesting that there are precious gems or signposts hidden in the Old Testament. As the adage says, 'The New is in the Old Concealed, the Old is in the New Revealed'.

Next, a bicycle needs a frame - a consistent time-frame for the Old and New Testaments in our context!! Putting the Days of Genesis 1 and 2 into proper context is like trying to assemble together the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. In solving jigsaw puzzles even children assemble the edge and corner pieces first. Ignoring the framework of the jigsaw at the beginning will cause undue delays and errors in assembling the big picture. Note in the photo below, how the team member with black sleeves (bottom left), is messing up his/her effort because he/she did not persevere to complete the framework first . Standard evangelical creationists are doing the same in forcing the days of creation into a 24-hour shoehorn. The edge pieces of the biblical big picture form the true prophetic frame-work of world-history (

Ignoring the prophetic framework which God has placed into the measures of the temples, the Feasts of Israel, biblical numerology, and other themes has caused standard creationists to go seriously astray!

edge effect.jpeg

A jigsaw puzzle to seriously challenge the enthusiasts in our Retirement village was donated by someone. It is an almost impossible puzzle to solve because it has no edge or corner pieces. It is borderless. It has lots of golf balls to make it even more confusing. To further add to the difficulty the set contains 5 additional pieces which are 'red herrings'.

This is the challenge that standard creationists face when they ignore the prophetic framework and superimpose aspects of creation science on their interpretation. The problem is that the word 'day', or 'YOM' in Hebrew, can clearly mean four different spans of time according to the context used in each case in Genesis Chapters 1 and 2. How does one decide which of the four lengths of time to use? One needs more information from the rest of the Bible. This is what I have considered in the series on the True Age of the Earth in order to arrive at the biblical age of the Earth.

Broome etc 507.JPG

This explains why Moses was strictly warned not to deviate from the pattern he was given in Median, Arabia, when he received the commandments on the mount. The commandments were much more than just the 10 commandments we associate with the giving of the Law. Hidden amongst the instructions were reference points for what a 'day' meant.

'In accordance with all that I show you, concerning the pattern of the tabernacle and of all it's furniture, so you shall make it' (Exodus 25:9).

'And see that you make them according to the pattern for them, which is being shown you on the mountain' (Exodus 25:40).

Failure to obey usually carried the death penalty in God's eyes. Aaron's sons and Korah's followers were struck dead by the Lord when they brought their own ideas to the Tabernacle.

Strict adherence to detail was demanded by God for a very good reason. God was hiding times and seasons in everything that was constructed by Moses, and later by Solomon,  and in those priestly functions that were ritually carried out word for word by the nation of Israel. The prophetic time-frame for the jigsaw puzzle revealing clues to the true age and the destiny of the Earth is hidden in them. The three major feasts (Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles), the 7-year cycles of sabbaths and the 50-year cycles of jubilees, were all prophetic of world events to come at precise moments to the Christian church in time. The time to discover these hidden secrets has arrived.

'It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out'
(Proverbs 25:2).

I have considered the true age of the Earth in 15 sequential articles (see top Menu) that encompass the whole word of God, instead of only considering Genesis Chapters 1 and 2 which have been treated superficially by mainstream evangelical Christianity. We note from the Scripture that the apostle Paul commended the Christians in Berea of Macedonia because they explored the scriptures to see whether what Paul said was in fact true. My hope is that you will do the same! But don't just rely on me. Search the scriptures and see what Pastor Derek Walker of Oxford Bible Church, UK, has to say:

In accordance with all of Scripture and harmonious with prophecy, the apostles, and the sayings of Jesus, the Earth is currently about 16,000 years old. The resurrection will take place within tens of years and the new heavens and the new Earth will be ushered in when the Earth has been approximately 17,000 years in existence since its very beginning when it was first created. Indeed there could be two new heavens and Earth events because I do not think it plausible that remains of casinos nor space craft debris on the Moon will be encountered during the 1000-year Millennium in the presence of Jesus. God will wipe the slate clean on Earth for the Millennium as it clearly says in 2 Peter 3:3-14). This is a true and faithful testimony of the Word of God. There is therefore an urgency to take the word of the Lord seriously and to look forward to our final redemption which is the redemption of our bodies,

'Now when these things begin to take place stand up and raise your heads because your redemption is drawing near' (Luke 21:28).

'....and not only the creation, but we ourselves who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly while we wait for adoption, the redemption of our bodies. For in hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what is seen? But if we hope for what we do not see we wait for it with patience' (Romans 8:23-25).

and finally dear brothers and sisters,

'First of all you must understand this that, in the last days, scoffers will come scoffing and indulging their own lusts saying, "Where is the promise of his coming? For, ever since our ancestors died, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation"! They deliberately ignore this fact that, by the word of God heavens existed long ago and an earth was formed out of water, and by means of water through which the world, of that time, was deluged with water and perished. But, by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been reserved for fire being kept until the day of judgement and destruction of the godless.

But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years are like one day. The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some think of slowness, but is patient with you not wanting any to perish, but all to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and everything that is done on it will be disclosed. (This is at the Second Coming)

Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, what sort of person ought you to be in leading lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set ablaze and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire? But, in accordance with his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth where righteousness is at home. Therefore, beloved, while you are waiting for these things, strive to be found by him at peace without spot or blemish' (2Peter 3:3-14).
