Plot of the depth of water  against days after the rains ceased. How would Noah  or Moses have ever know about the smooth recession of the flood? The data speak for themselves! This is an example of a supernatural revelation given to man.

One might then ask the next logical question. Where did the flood waters go? There are two possibilities both of which are not only feasible but also observable by geologists.

1. The expansion of the Earth by the Earth's crust tearing apart into fragments known as tectonic plates. Observe on a world map how snuggly Africa can fit into South America like two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. 

​

2. The retreat of waters into subterranean cavities. Huge water reserves in cavities underneath the outer crust of the Earth have been mapped by the latest military technologies. I received my PhD in a Physics Department at the University of Tasmania in Hobart. A former Head of Department published a book that provided ample evidence that ancient planet Earth had a smaller diameter in comparison to its diameter today.  Hence the measurable slowing down of the speed of rotation  of the planet. The continuing expansion of the surface is measurable in cm per year of deep and widening cracks in the Earth's surface in Africa and Greenland. This  will lead to the separation of two tectonic plates along the massive fault lines in the ring of fire on the western coast of the Americas this November.

Key figures who developed or promoted the hypothesis over time include:

• Ivan Yakovski and Otto Hilgenberg (early 20th century), who further developed concepts of planetary growth and continental separation. [1, 2]

• László Egyed and Pascual Jordan (1950s–1960s), who linked the expansion to physics, such as a decreasing gravitational constant or space-time dilatation. [1, 2]

• Samuel Warren Carey, an Australian geologist who became its most prominent modern champion in the mid-to-late 20th century, using it to reject subduction. [1, 2]

(Note: The expanding Earth theory is largely discredited in modern science, having been replaced by plate tectonics). This claim by the AI system and by scientist who oppose an expanding earth hypothesis is utter nonsense.  It is another example of circular reasoning used by evolutionists. As any school child would recognize intercontinental drift was caused by the tearing apart of the earth's outer crust, most  probably in the times of Peleg when this was a rapid and observable phenomenon (Genesis 10:25).

Here is my personal experience of the intellectual insanity of some scientists. Since our Vice Chancellor was absent I was given the privilege of representing our university at a Vice-Chancellors Committee sent to Canberra to investigate the research in the physics department of the  Australian National University. In one of the large buildings we were shown a three story high pelletron used to measure the age of skulls sent over from Kenya. I was not unfamiliar with this equipment because we had a better one at the University of Melbourne of which I was part owner through a large research grant. (before I became a Christian and was rejected by the scientific community).  We used ours for a more sensible application. We could detect and quantitatively measure almost every single element in the universe in localized spots only 1 micrometer in diameter.

The Professor of Mechanical engineering, a Christian, of the University of Western Australia posed the researcher in charge a pertinent question. "You say that this instrument is accurate to 29 decimal places for measuring  an isotope from which the age of the specimen can be calculated. How do you calibrate this instrument?". 

The scientist answered, "Oh that's no problem.  We have this piece of rock  from the Smithsonian Institute in Washington whose age is precisely known. We standardise our instrument against that." 

 

Upon hearing that, the 18 members of the committee hung their heads in shame  biting their lips, and filed out to the next laboratory in silence.
